Baseball 2009

Opening Day 006

The season started off great, Opening Day with Megan and Avery of course can't be beat! Then Manny Ramirez got suspended 50 games for having elevated synthetic testosterone in his system. Hurray for another cheater. All of the recent steroid crap in MLB just leads me to believe that baseball can survive anything. The strike, steroids, recession, wars, and attendance is still going up year after year. Check out a few photos of Avery at Opening Day at Coors Field in the Avery Image Gallery.

And the new Yankee Stadium and Redesigned Kauffman Stadium are both on my list of places to visit ASAP.

Lots of new pictures

background

I just uploaded a bunch of new pictures off my cell phone to the site. There's a bunch of the pets from over the years, a few trips (including New York), some of Megan and Me in our first few weeks of dating even. More baseball as well. There is also some new photos from the route I take driving to work.

Speaking of driving to work, last night's drive home was ugly, clouds blocking the views, low visibility not very fun. But this morning BEAUTIFUL snow covered peaks and a dusting over a good portion of the flat lands. I wish I would have had my digital camera with me, I didn't even try taking pictures with my cell phone because there is no way it would be able to capture the awesomeness.
